Moor Pool is a special place. English Heritage called it a “hidden gem” and an exceptional surviving example of the Arts & Crafts garden suburb movement.
The town planning of Moor Pool was led by John Sutton Nettlefold in 1902. He believed that if people live, socialise, play and work together, then a stronger sense of community develops. Today, Moor Pool Heritage Trust solely exists to conserve the community assets and protect Moor Pool’s heritage for future generations, but we can’t do this without your generous support.

Friends of Moor Pool
You can become a Friend of Moor Pool by making a regular monthly donation of £5, £10 or £20.
- £5 per month provides children’s activities, such as forest school and special educational needs sessions at our Carless Eco Centre.
- £10 per month ensures our large trees thrive and are well maintained via our annual tree works schedule.
- £20 per month keeps our community groups dry by re-proofing Moor Pool Hall’s roof and windows.
