Moor Pool spaces
A unique space for your event
Moor Pool hall is a popular venue for children’s parties and more intimate low-key wedding parties and other occasions and offers a huge amount of choice to transform the space into the event you have envisioned.
The Main Hall is large and spacious, and is a blank canvas for you to make your event unique and turn in to the party you dreamed of and a memorable event.
Alternatively the Lower Hall is suited to smaller events or can be hired with adjacent historic Edwardian Skittle Alley.
A unique space to work
The Estate Office is the last and final piece of the Moor Pool jigsaw, acquired by Moor Pool Heritage Trust in September 2023 and brought back into community ownership. It offers a comfortable place to work and collaborate in the heart of the community.
The Hackett Suite is a co-working space, seating up to 8 people on large individual desks. Desks can be booked on a daily or half-day basis, with monthly membership options available.
The Kenrick Room is a professional boardroom, seating up to 8 people. The room can be hired by the hour on weekdays, or for a minimum of 2 hours on evenings and weekends.
A unique space to learn
The Carless Eco Centre is a welcoming community hub dedicated to promoting environmental awareness and green living within the Moor Pool Estate. It serves as a vibrant focal point for ecological education, community activities and sustainable practices.
The Orchard is a green space owned by Moor Pool Heritage Trust and home to our Muddy Moor Poolers forest school sessions.
A unique space to visit
Moor Pool Estate was built over 54 acres. Almost one fifth of this acreage was reserved as green spaces, including gardens, the Moor Pool and open green spaces.
A unique space to live
Moor Pool Heritage Trust owns over 70 allotments that are maintained and leased by local residents.
Moor Pool Heritage Trust also owns 4 sets of garages on the Moor Pool Estate, some are only available for rent to residents of the Moor Pool Estate.
