Join Rachel West for an illustrated talk about Augustus Pugin: Architect, writer, and designer of several notable Birmingham landmarks including St Mary’s Convent, Handsworth, King Edwards School, Edgbaston Park Road, and St Chad’s Cathedral.
William Morris is often credited with the founding of the ‘Arts and Crafts’ movement, however, it was Pugin’s original theories which underpinned its development, enabling Morris and others to then expand these ideas.

Join us after Coffee Morning for Dementia Friends with Rosie Barker.
A Dementia Friends Information Session is a fun, interactive way to learn a little about dementia and how it can affect people's lives. Led by a volunteer Dementia Friends Champion, the Session lasts 45-60 minutes and covers five key messages that everyone should know about dementia, through activities and discussion. It is free for all to attend.
